During my recent one-night stay at Lilac City, I found it to be a great stopover during my travels. The room was bright and clean, offering a comfortable bed for a restful night. I appreciated the friendly service at reception and enjoyed the on-site restaurant with a tasty breakfast.

The knowledgeable staff gave good recommendations. This hotel was set in a central area very close to central Goulburn, restaurant for tea and Canberra. It was around 4-6 minutes' walk from Bistro Jinja, where you can have dinner.

I was really disappointed with the room. It smelled terrible, and there were stains everywhere. The bathroom was a mess, with no way to hang towels. Plus, I could hear screaming from the next room all night! Just awful.

Reception floor was filthy (bad first impression) bed was so hard it felt like concrete other guests decided to have a smoke outside my room at 3.00am and coughed the whole time. Will not stay again

we had a decent stay at lilac city despite a few hiccups. the check-in process was friendly and quick, making us feel welcome right away. our room was clean and tidy, which was appreciated. having a microwave, fridge, and toaster was definitely a plus, along with cutlery. the bathroom was spotless, although the shower area felt a bit cramped for someone tall like me. overall, for the price, it was a reasonable option for a night’s stay.

During my recent stay, I was impressed by the well-sized room that offered ample space to relax. The bed was big and comfortable, complemented by extra pillows and blankets. the shower heated up quickly, providing a refreshing start to my day.

I did notice a minor issue with the bathroom amenities; while they listed as de luxe, some facilities felt a bit standard compared to other establishments.

Location very close to supermarkets, the steakhouse both for dinner, and a resturant with good food on premises. Also, close to the main town centre. Adequate and great breakfast choice with toast and raisin bread, for example.

I had a pleasant stay at this cozy motor inn! The room was spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing after a long day. It’s conveniently located near the turn-off to some fine caves and the associated steakhouse had delicious meals you could enjoy either in-house or via room service. Plus, you can easily grab snacks and drinks from the nearby service station. The front desk staff were super friendly and cute, making my visit even better!

Enjoyed a great value stay for the public holidays, it was the best choice compared to other places around.

I stayed in a newly decorated and functional unit that had a sliding window and a nice shower in the bathroom. the staff here were really pleasant and went above and beyond. Plus, they offer a free wake-up service and ironing, which was super convenient. 😊.
